Where Purpose Meets Possibility: Launching Our Evansville Journey Under the Lights

A night at the Otters marked the beginning of a monumental chapter: the launch of Orr Fellowship’s newest chapter in Evansville, Indiana. Networking — and, more importantly, relationship-building — took a new form as fellows, managers, partner company leaders and community members gathered for the unique opportunity to connect at the historic home of the Evansville Otters.

The event featured meaningful conversations and connections, kickstarted by Abigail Hornacket, who confidently stepped onto the field to throw the game’s first pitch. The pitch symbolized the beginning of a new chapter centered on leadership, engagement and impact within the Evansville community.

Team owner Bill Bussing treated attendees to a behind-the-scenes tour of Bosse Field, the third-oldest professional ballpark still in use in the United States. From walking the historic concourse to observing live broadcasting and standing on the rooftop overlooking the field, the experience served as a powerful reminder of the legacy being joined — and the new one beginning to be built.

The Orr Fellowship’s mission is clear in Evansville: to recruit and develop the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs in Indiana. Night at the Otters was the first event bringing that mission to life, and it couldn’t have been a more enjoyable beginning.
