Recruitment Process
How to Become an Orr Fellow:
Submit your application—submit some basic info and your resume. It only takes about three minutes!
You can apply to both our Indianapolis Chapter and our Evansville Chapter if you’re interested in both. Be sure to fill out both applications.
A 30 minute 1:1 interview with an Orr Fellowship Exec Member, Alumni, or Board Member. This takes place on your college/university campus or virtually.
Indy program applicants, join us at Reception on the Circle (ROTC). Evansville program applicants, join us at Reception on the River (ROTR). Both are popping, smart-casual networking nights in their respective cities!
After getting a taste of life as a Fellow at ROTC or ROTR, recommit to Orr Fellowship. This is you saying YES! to Orr Fellowship should you receive a placement with a Partner Company. Submit a signed letter of intent, a Predictive Index Assessment, and your resume again for safe keeping.
If you’ve applied to both chapters, attend both ROTC and ROTR. When submitting your reapplication, choose which of the two chapters you commit to for the rest of the recruitment process.
A marathon interview day on December 4, 2025 for Evansville and December 5, 2025 for Indy.
Finalists are paired with 3-5 Partner Companies who are seeking to fill full-time roles at their organizations. These interviews will either be tailored to a specific role within a Partner Company or more of a general skills and compatibility discovery.
Many finalists receive same-day offers during Phase 1 placement. For those who do not receive offers from their initial interviews, Phase 2 placement will potentially match finalists with Orr Fellowship Partner Companies that are still looking for talented Fellows.
Upon acceptance, the first step towards your Indy career journey and as an Orr Fellow will be underway!
You’ll be notified via email in between each action item regarding your advancement to the next stage of the recruitment process. Outside of the major stages above, there are other get-to-know-Orr Fellowship events such as Webinars, fORRums, on-campus meetups, and more available for you to attend.
