Orr Fellowship named a finalist for TechPoint 2026 Mira Awards

TechPoint, Indiana’s nonprofit, industry-led growth engine for the state’s tech sector, has revealed its list of finalists for the 2026 Mira Awards, honoring the best in tech in Indiana. We’re proud to share that Orr Fellowship has been named a Mira Award finalist for the Community Impact category.

The 106 finalists come from throughout the state, representing every major industry, including manufacturing, life sciences and agbioscience. A team of independent judges selected the nominees from more than 230 submissions.

“Each year, the Mira Awards reveal just how powerful and dynamic Indiana’s tech ecosystem has become,” said Ting Gootee, CEO of TechPoint. “These finalists embody the ingenuity, resilience and collaborative spirit that continue to position our state as a national leader in digital innovation.”

The Community Impact award honors organizations that leverage digital innovation to support entrepreneurs, boost productivity in established industries and drive growth while making a positive contribution to local communities. It specifically highlights contributions to the tech community and those creating a more equitable future for all Hoosiers.

“By embracing technology as a tool for access, inclusion and connection, Orr Fellowship has amplified our community impact while retaining Indiana’s brightest talent,” said Steven Emch, President of Orr Fellowship. “From our new Evansville chapter to our AI-enabled recruitment and storytelling platforms, Orr demonstrates how innovation can empower people, strengthen communities and build a more equitable future for all Hoosiers.”

In 2025, Orr Fellowship advanced our mission to recruit and develop the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs by using technology to create stronger, more connected communities across the state. Through the responsible integration of AI, digital innovation and statewide expansion, Orr Fellowship is bridging opportunity gaps, accelerating talent retention and building a more inclusive future for Indiana’s workforce.

Winners of the 2026 Mira Awards will be announced during a gala at The Palladium in Carmel on April 24, 2026.
