I hope in my time as Chief of Staff, I help build a Fellowship culture and FLT team dynamic rooted in authenticity, flexibility, and trust. What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Community Engagement? One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead? Inspired.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? FLT truly shapes the culture and atmosphere of the Fellowship. The previous FLT set an amazing example of a great culture, and I quickly became passionate about ensuring the next class of Fellows experiences the same sense of community and support. FLT helps Fellows grow and get involved at all levels of the Fellowship. As someone who didn’t feel that they found their place until about five months in, I knew joining FLT would allow me to reach others who may feel the same way and help them find their place and get involved.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Continued Learning? During FLT election day, I emphasized, “We are going to “ACE” continued learning together.” A is for Awareness—making Fellows aware of learning opportunities in Indianapolis. C is for Curation—selecting impactful business leadership speakers for fellows to hear from. E is for Empowerment—offering skills enhancement sessions run by fellows and local companies. My goal is to help Fellows see continued learning as a valuable aspect of their journey while in Orr Fellowship, not just a requirement. I aim to embed this culture of learning within our two-year experience.

Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Madison King

Madison studied Marketing at the University of Evansville, and she currently works as a Marketing Coordinator at Morales Group. As Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Madison will lead the DEI team as they educate, challenge, and enrich Orr Fellowship to be a community of inclusive excellence.

One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead: Optimistic.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? In less than a year with Orr Fellowship, I have only begun to explore the incredible opportunities this organization provides. I wanted to be part of FLT to help make sure that students from all backgrounds not only know about Orr but also understand its long-term impact. I also want to help current Fellows make the most of their experience and feel genuinely excited about their journey here.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclustion? As Director of DEI, my goal is to foster a stronger, more inclusive community within Orr, where every Fellow feels a true sense of belonging. I also want to ensure that the recruitment process is equitable and that qualified candidates aren’t overlooked. This will help bring in talented and engaged future Fellows who will thrive in this organization!

Director of Fellow Alumni and Engagement: Harrison Monteith

Harrison graduated from Butler University with majors in Finance and Marketing. He works as a Finance Development Rotational Professional at dormakaba. As Director of Fellow and Alumni Engagement, Harrison will collaborate, create, and execute meaningful events throughout the year for Orr Fellows and our alumni network.

One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead: Thrilled.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? Hearing the stories of Fellows from various backgrounds and schools inspired me to give back to the Fellowship as a whole. I feel that holding a leadership position will allow me to maximize my time within this organization in a role where I can grow alongside inspiring individuals.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Fellow Alumni Engagement? I hope to create an even greater sense of pride for current and past Fellows to be part of such an amazing organization by putting on events throughout the year. Fostering a greater sense of community and bridging the gaps of relationships between Fellows is something I will take great pride in as Director of Fellow Alumni & Engagement

Director of Finance: Nick Logan

Nick studied Economics at Wabash College, and he is a Preconstruction Coordinator for The Annex Group. In his role as Director of Finance, Nick will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and fiscal operations of Fellow-led Orr Fellowship initiatives while also assisting Fellows with their usage of the professional development stipend to encourage them to enhance their career skills.

One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead: Elated.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? The opportunity to give back to the program that has already done a great deal for my personal and professional development in the eight short months I have been here was a no-brainer. I am inspired by the things I see Orr Fellows accomplish every day, and this gives me an opportunity to work closer with every single member of the Fellowship.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Finance? I hope to impact the other ~120 Fellows in a positive way and provide value for them as Director of Finance. Most importantly, I hope to learn a lot from a group of people who are already accomplishing great things at a young age.

Director of Marketing: Blake Van Der Kamp

Blake graduated from Iowa State University, where he studied Agricultural Education, International Agriculture, and Public Relations with a Certificate in Leadership Studies. He is a Junior Program Manager at Liberty Fund. As Director of Marketing, Blake will be responsible for candidates, universities, and the community’s first impression of Orr as he oversees the Brand and Communication Departments.

One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead: Confident.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? I came to the Orr Fellowship as an out-of-stater and with no ties to the state of Indiana other than my fiance. After quickly becoming attached to the city of Indianapolis as I started Orr, it became clear that I not only want to experience all that Indiana has to offer but also encourage others to come to this city. Thus, by joining FLT, I get to be part of a wonderful team that not only develops individuals personally and professionally but also gets to develop the Indianapolis community as well through talent recruitment and investment.

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Marketing? As Director of Marketing, my goal is to cultivate a community within Orr that allows Fellows to develop their skills in strategic communication while also raising brand awareness about the amazing organization that is Orr Fellowship.

Director of Recruitment: Xavier Ramirez

Xavier is a graduate of Indiana University, where he studied Human Resources and Public Policy. He currently works at Indiana University as an Executive Liaison. As Director of Recruitment, Xavier will lead Fellows through recruitment of the next class of Fellows and support candidates through the application and interview process when applying for Orr Fellowship.

One word to describe how you’re feeling about the year ahead: Ecstatic.

What attracted you to being a part of Orr Fellowship’s FLT? FLT is a truly unique opportunity to have a lasting impact on the state of Indiana and the lives of those who reside in it. We are able to guide the execution of a 120+ person operation while meaningfully changing young professionals’ lives for the better. Who could ask for more?

What do you hope to accomplish during your time as Director of Recruitment? As Director of Recruitment, my two guiding missions are to elevate Orr Fellowship’s reputation within Indiana and to deepen Fellow engagement in the recruitment process. Recruitment isn’t just about filling roles—it’s about shaping futures. Each year, we have the opportunity to change the lives of 75+ college graduates by launching their careers, and I want every Fellow to feel the weight and reward of that impact. By fostering this sense of purpose, I hope to inspire greater dedication to our recruitment efforts, strengthening both Orr and the broader Indiana community.
