Steven Emch,

President

Steven Emch is responsible for setting the overall strategic and operational direction for Orr Fellowship across all channels. With a focus on developing future leaders, Steven ensures that Orr’s initiatives and experiences align with the organization’s mission to develop the next generation of leaders.

He oversees key initiatives, manages partnerships with community and corporate stakeholders, and works closely with the board to shape the future of Orr Fellowship as a whole.  Commitment to organizational growth, program development, and engagement, ensures Orr Fellowship continues to provide valuable learning opportunities and career development for Fellows. His leadership helps guide Orr Fellowship’s long-term sustainability and impact within the Indianapolis and Evansville Region Chapters.

Catherine Mazanek,

Senior Director of Engagement

Catherine Mazanek oversees all aspects of Fellow programming throughout their two-year journey. In her role, Catherine collaborates closely with Fellows, ensuring they receive a comprehensive and enriching experience that fosters personal and professional growth. 

She is dedicated to curating impactful programming that supports leadership development, career readiness, inclusion and belonging, and community involvement. She guides Fellows through every stage of their Fellowship experience and leads the Fellowship Leadership team as they hone their professional skills to strategically shape and achieve goals throughout their tenure with the help of their Fellow-led teams.

Jesse Sherman,

Director of Talent Acquisition

Jesse Sherman plays a vital role in making recruitment season and Fellowship events effective, efficient, and, most importantly, unforgettable for both candidates and Partner Companies. He manages the entire early-career talent pipeline and applicant process, coordinates recruitment communications, travels to universities, and fosters excitement among current Fellows as they recruit the upcoming cohort of Fellows annually. Jesse also creates and maintains relationships with our Partner Companies looking to hire the Fellows who will be the next generation of business leaders.

With a knack for connecting with people and fostering authentic relationships, he plays a key role in making recruitment season an exciting time for candidates, Partner Companies, and Fellows alike.

Ben Trockman,

Evansville Regional Director

Ben Trockman leads Orr Fellowship’s expansion into Southwest Indiana, creating opportunities for Fellows to connect, grow, and make an impact in the region. He oversees all aspects of the Evansville cohort experience—building relationships with local Partner Companies, planning programming, and guiding Fellows as they begin their professional journeys.

A connector, doer, and passionate community champion, Ben brings deep experience in communications, community development, and accessibility advocacy. He plays a key role in making Evansville an exciting place for Fellows to launch their careers, develop meaningful connections, and thrive both personally and professionally.
