Brian Schutt is co-founder of Refinery46, a co-working and entrepreneurship space on the north side of Indianapolis, and HomeSense Heating and Cooling. In addition, he teaches entrepreneurship at Purdue University. He believes that entrepreneurial ecosystems built from the ground up can transform communities by creating jobs that maximize human potential.

Brian was born and raised in Indianapolis, attending The Orchard School and Lawrence Central High School. He graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s in Management. Brian spent the first ten years of his career in various sales and marketing roles, including international work in Mexico. Brian was an IBJ 40 Under 40 recipient in 2019 and received the HVAC industry 40 under 40 in 2018. He serves on the boards of Innovate WithIN, the Indiana Leadership Prayer Breakfast, the HVAC Association of Indiana, and Home Artisans of Indiana. He lives in Carmel, Indiana, with his wife Tiffany, son Parker, daughter Emerson, and dog Buckley.
