Orr Fellowship is Your Company’s Talent Pipeline

Apply to be a Host Company

Orr Fellowship actively recruits on campuses at over 25 colleges and universities throughout the Midwest, making it easy for host companies to gain access to a high-caliber talent pool.

Orr Fellows are the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. All were academically excellent campus leaders and have earned business, liberal arts, or STEM degrees.

Join an Elite Group of Local Businesses

Orr Fellowship's current network of 60 invited companies grows and evolves each year. These companies often do business with each other.

The Fellowship companies include creative, and high-growth companies of all sizes and industries including start-ups, scale-ups, and well-established firms.

Interested new companies communicate with the Executive Director throughout the year and may apply at any time. Invitations to become Orr host companies for the next class of Fellows are extended to CEOs each year in late Summer/early Fall.

Your Orr Fellow and Your Company will Benefit from Orr's Continued Learning Curriculum and Networking Opportunities

Orr Fellows take part in rigorous continued learning like case competitions, non-profit consulting, skills workshops, Indy business leaders speaker series, and much more. Fellows then bring this knowledge to the workplace, improving their already high quality of work and contributing to their employers' success.

How Orr Fellow Recruitment Works

Each Fall, Orr Fellowship candidates take part in a multi-tiered vetting system that is led by Fellows, the Executive Director and the Board, making it easy for host companies to interview and hire high-caliber candidates.

1

In order for Fellows to seek out the best candidate pool of over 1,100 qualified students, recruitment on campuses takes many forms such as attending career fairs, visiting classrooms, sending emails, leading information sessions, and many informal coffee chats.

2

Orr Fellowship Board members and the Executive Director interview roughly 300 candidates.

3

Top candidates attend Reception on the Circle in Indianapolis, and submit a personal statement, essay, and personality assessment.

4

Top candidates are invited to Finalist Day to interview with host companies in early November. Host companies select which candidates they'd like to interview.

5

At Finalist Day, host companies interview at least 8 candidates, scheduled by Orr, and extend offers that night. All interviews conveniently take place in one location.

6

Fellows begin work at their host companies soon after their graduation. December graduates start in January and May graduates start in June.
