Are you involved in any cool activities around Indianapolis?
I find myself staying pretty late with work most days so it makes it a bit hard. Really, it’s just that I have commitment issues. Jokes aside, I like to keep up with dancing, which I started in college, at different events around town. Fountain Square has a fun swing dancing scene. Downtown there’s a place I go to for salsa nights. Away from dancing, I find myself biking on the Monon and running at Eagle Creek!
What’s your favorite memory of the Fellowship so far?
The Fellowship has so many social events, it’s hard to choose from. But my favorite memory so far would be the boat trip during the summer. It was a nice day out in the sun, a great bonding experience and a feel-good atmosphere. We were still trying to get to know the new class and know each other that it meant a bit more to share an experience like that with everyone there.
What do you think is unique about your Fellowship experience?
I have been working on a new product my company is trying to pursue. It’s been exhilarating and a headache at the same time. I feel like an entrepreneur trying to start a new venture what with all the experience of trying to get a product designed and out to market. I’ve learned how to really look at a single problem from every angle imaginable. Then, just when I think I’m done, I walk away to find out I missed something! It’s tough, but the big takeaway is that I find my experience so far driving me to pursue a life of entrepreneurship.
